Default Sync seems hard of hearing

This mostly happens in my wife's Edge, but I am curious if this has happened in anyone else's truck. Sync seems to be hard of hearing to any commands. Environment is good. No rain, windows up, no vents on, etc. No reason it should make so many mistakes. Yes we are speaking very clearly and loud. Any suggestion to a fix? Anyone ever run into this problem?

When was the last time you updated it?

It's been mike this since after we bought it. We never took it in for warranty work in sync because it seemed after a while it was ok. Now it's out if warranty and acting up from time to time again. Haven't updated it to newest version. I shall try that.

What update?

Did this update by chance give you the backup directional lines that are in the 14 Explorer? They are not straight but curve to show your backing turns?

go to syncmyride.com

Sign in and enter in your vehicle info. See if there is an update available. I'm sure there is.

I like the curving line deal too but who knows if its even available as an update for us.

I should add that the syncmyride.com is only a starting point. It said I was up to date but when I took it to the dealership I wasnt.

That Sync system is the biggest electronic piece of **** I've ever seen...absolute garbage. Constantly have to reconnect Bluetooth, USB drops off all the time & it almost never understands voice commands...junk. Ford needs to jump in a Nissan and get the low down on how they're system works. My wife's Murano automatically connects to her IPhone, plays the last song she was on. Never drops off, understands voice commands...far more superior system. Sorry...had to vent!
