Sync prompts will not shut off through the menu. it says quotes "set off?" and I hit okay. prompts are still there... anyone have any idea on how to get rid of them?

 

did you try engaging the steering wheel button to disengage the sync

I have yelled "no you stupid Bi&ch" a few times when it couldn't get the song i wanted.
now i mainly use sync for making calls

 

I don't think you can totally turn off the prompts, only shorten them.

On would say "Sync, please say a command" beep.
Off would say "Sync" beep.

or

On - "USB, please say a command" beep.
Off - "USB" beep.

 

I couldn't get my sync prompts to shut off through the menu either.
I was able to hit the voice button on the steering wheel and say "interaction mode advanced" though - this seems to do the same thing.

Now I just get the base prompt (sync, usb2, phone, etc). It doesn't repeat tracks now, etc.
