I had an issue a while back with my sync... everything worked normal (radio, voice commands, etc..) but the phone wouldnt sync. Nothing would happen when I touched the phone button on the dash or the steering wheel and the voice command when saying "phone" would kick back an error. I had to take it to the dealer and they basically had to install a new computer. they even attempted updates that didnt work.

my advice would be go to sync my ride website and download a sync update on a USB flash drive. if the line in isnt reading it, go to the dealer.

Mine does this 7 of the 10 times I get in the truck. I've had it in for service 4 times, and right now I'm looking up invoices, getting ready to trade it in.

SYNC: Made by Microsoft.

Now there's your problem...

Polarisnford,

You are the man, pulled the fuse assigned to SYNC, pressed my phone key, and I am back in business. Pulling the power source must act as a soft reset for SYNC. I will remember this trick for the next time.

Thanks again

Good to know!

However, it shouldn't have to be this complicated...
