I just took my '11 SCab in for the same fix. I should get it back Monday. Hope the problem goes away.

I have an appointment to go in tomorrow....should i pull the usb2 out so that the service guy doesn't try and tell me it is the usb2 messing the sync system up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I removed mine but I think it was a waste of my time since I don't think they have any reason to look in the glove box, which is where my HDD is.

It only took 5 min to remove it.
