Default sync/phone

I must preface my question by mentioning that I love the sync feature in my new 2010.

I was wondering if I am missing something, but when I answer or make a call with my bluetooth enable phone I pretty much have to scream for the people on the other line to hear me. Is there some type of adjustment and does anyone know where the microphone is located?

Thanks,

I don't have any problem with the other people hearing me. The mic is on the back of the Rear-view Mirror.

There is a TSB (09-13-05) to replace the mirror mounted microphone. While it does improve the BT voice quality, the improvement really depends on your phone and carrier.

I had problems with voice recognition on my 09 FX4. Dealer ended up adding a small external speaker per a recent TSB. Appears to have solved the problem.

When I would answer the phone, I would have to turn the volume way up to here them. I tried turning up the volume on my phone while talking via bluetooth and my wife on the other end said that she could now here me a lot better also! Give it a try.
