Default Sync issue FYI

For that annoying feature that starts playing music from your phone automatically when you first sync to your truck.
With a little trial and error, here is a simple fix. Before you turn off your ignition, go to the Bluetooth menu and change the selected source to Sync Line In. That's it. Has been working fine for a few weeks now.

Alright, I'll break it down.
AUX > MENU> SELECT SOURCE> SYNC LINE IN.
That should do it. You will only have to do this after listening to music through Sync. Otherwise. it will hold the setting.

If you have the touch screen, all you have to do is hit Media to bring up the media screen, then touch the Source area on the screen to jump to the next input source.

Simpler yet, with or with out the touch screen, hit the Radio button before you shut down.

Ahh, I see. You have to do this each time. Thanks. I wish there was a way to just stop it from BT streaming. oh well. Thanks for the break down

It's just like any other mode--if you turn the key off with a certain FM station playing, the same station starts playing once you turn the key on again; or with a CD playing, it will restart playing at the same point in the same track as when you turned the key off, or rather, opened the door.
