Default Suspension

I have a new 2012 FX2 F150 EcoBoost, just turned over 1000 miles lol.

I'm already noticing that the suspension seems very soft, almost too soft. If I go into a turn it rolls a lot and doesn't feel as solid as it should.

In the rain if I get on it at all I get horrible wheel hop! It totally blows. If I want to spin them down it should have no problem doing so.

Has anyone done anything to address this? I see that most lift guys get new shocks but has anyone got a stiffer shock on a stock truck?

I'm even thinking about adding a leaf spring out back and maybe new rear shocks to help along with a 1.5-2 in level when I need new tires.

The stock pirelli tires don't seem to do very well either. I'll probably replace them with a BFG TKO.

I need to get my truck on a lift and grab some pictures.

I agree that the Stock set-up is soft. I put Bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks on the front and it firmed up the ride considerably without making it too stiff. Alot of people have done this mod. I used the 3rd setting and got about 1.5 inches of front lift/level. you can choose to leave it at the same/stock hieght with this shock if that is your preference. See photos in my garage if interested.

I would use the Roadmaster Active Suspension to stop the wheel hop and help firm it up in the corners.
