Default Supercrew rear inside handle don't work...

I have an 09 Supercrew but the rear inside door handles never worked. The door open fine fron the outside. It doesn't bother me but when I do have people in the back it's a PITA... I know it's not the child safty locks. I saw somewhere that there is a tsb on it but can't find it. Anyone else have this problem?

You need to look at the door when opened and move the lever to off for the child door settings so that you can use the handles from the inside.

My 10 had the interior doorhandle break. The spring in the back of the handle is not reinforced, and the plastic breaks, making the door inop from the inside. If it's not the child safety locks, it could be recall 11S15.

I had to fix mine myself, even though I took it to Ford and explained I obviously had the same issue, even though my build date was 1 month out of the recall window. They didn't want to hear it.

I bought a new handle for 50 bucks, and when I took the old one out, this is what I saw...

The exact broken part, with a date stamp showing it fell in the recall window. Thanks for nothing Ford- must have been built at quitting time on a Friday, with a handle from the old box...
