I am running the superchip flashpack on the 87 octane performance tune. I think the truck is running rich because I have black exhaust all over my exhaust tips. I have a 2013 ecoboost with magnaflow exhaust and an AFE stage 2 intake with boost pipe. Does anyone have any experience with the superchips canned tunes? Thanks in advance

Yes and the tune works well. The black exhaust is normal and is there with or without tune.

I have that programmer too. 2006 fx4. Have you been on Superchips website yet? You download they're upgrade software. From there you can purchase custom tunes for CAI systems if there's one available to download for your truck. I here that sometimes a CAI tune is necessary for MAF issues. Not sure about excessive exhaust "soot".

Also, Superchips customer service is great at answering these types of questions. If it's a tune problem, they'd know.
