Sunshades
Nah!
Take a closer look at the detail of the photo "shotgun" selected. The windshield wipers are on top of the sunshade, just like the others, but it is mostly hidden by the hood. It's one of those car designs where they try to hide the wipers below the line of the hood. Try digging those wipers out of the freezing rain.
Think of a 40 mph wind getting under the lower edge of that sunshade without the wipers to hold it down. Can you spell "B-y-e B-y-e" sunshade. I'm not sure how they protect against this "blow off" when the vehicle is parked with the back end towards the wind. It looks like the wind could get under the top edge with essentially the same result.
It was blowing 30 mph here in Houston this morning. I'm guessing those of you in snow country are getting a bit more than that.
Whatever the sales pitch, brilliantbob is not in Sailor Don's future.

Don -
Why do you state your opinion like it's a proven fact?
Your opinion would be valid if you had any experience with the product, but you don't. If you want to ask questions about your perceived concerns, I'd be happy to answer them.
Here are the FACTS:
I bought mine a week after I bought the truck (June 09).
The wipers you mention would be a PITA to remove with or without the Weatherbuster.
It's seen 98 degrees in direct sunlight the entire day; 40 mph sustained winds (and 60 mph gusts), thundershowers, freezing rain, snow, 18 degrees, etc. I always cover the wipers (helps them last longer) and it's never moved.
Simply put, it works better than ANY other 'windshield' sun screen available (and I've had many different types on every vehicle I've ever owned).
