Default Summa' Beach! Wife rashed my FX4 charcoal 20" wheels - how to fix???

So, I have a much-beloved 2011 FX4 SCREW, Sterling Grey, garaged with only 8,000 miles in 3.5yrs. This boy doesn't even have a bug splatter on it!

Well, last week, my wife drove it to my daughter's kindergarten recital, and schooched it into a city parking spot, right into the cobblestone curbing -- rubbing a quarter-sized burnish on my right front passenger wheel.

Gosh, dern it -- I'm serious; I otherwise haven't had a single scratch and keep my FX4 in my garage without so much as a single bug splatter!

I really don't know what to do -- I've read that Ford hasn't shared the paint code for any touch up paint. Does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify the burnish???????

I had hoped to sell the wheel and OEM Scorpions cheap in order to partially fund new shoes once I install a 4" or 6" lift... If you were me, would you (i) attempt a touch-up using sterling grey metallic or maybe something similar, OR (ii) have all four wheels powder-coated by a local shop to metallic black, OR (iii) take the hit and try to get ~$700 for my existing set, and upgrade to a more aggressive tire and wheel combo?

Thanks, guys.

I would try and fix it for now, or powder coat them for your new rubber after the lift. I doubt your gonna get $700 for a used set with a damaged rim. I just paid $1000 for brand new '14 FX4 take offs with 100 miles on them. They are not worth as much as people think.

A divorce should fix that right up.

Bring it to one of the specialty rim shops. They are usually good.

I dont think you'd get much more for perfect wheels versus 1 with a scratch. just leave it

I'd give my wife a kiss and forget about the wheel.

Interesting, I have the same rims.......

I went around a bend in a road too fast in snow conditions and slid into a snow banked up curb and rashed my blacked out rims a tad as well. I wasn't too concerned, it's been a year + but eventually I'd like to fix it.
