Default This Sucks..

I bought a brand new set of oem hd headlights in hopes to retrofit them seeing as i have the projectors, halos and everything i need left over from my last vehicle.

well it didnt turn out so well.I cracked 1 reflector trying to pry the lense...and the second headlight lense warped from the heat. now im out $300

Is there anyone in canada that does these retrofits? i would just buy the recons but everyone around here has them and i like the look of retrofits way better.

I would just send them to someone to open them up for you.. i've done 3 sets, nver cracking or damaging anything. But if you have the parts, u might as well do it yourself. Bilinvic and TuxedoBlack do badass work, but they also have a waiting list til the freaking summer. if u can wait, go for it! if not, id buy another set of chrome lights from here.. plenty of forum members offered me some for 100$ shipped which is chump change. you have spare lenses, and spare reflectors for your lights now

Then just back for 10 minutes per light at 250 and get em apart! they wont warp
