If you decide you want to try and locate one from a wrecking yard you can try this site: www.car-part.com Looks like there are some out there; kind of pricey though

I just noticed something, I have a 5 1/2ft bed, and the flareside only comes in 6 1/2ft lengths, I'm pretty sure that the 6 1/2 won't work. Does anyone know for sure??

Yeah I don't think that there was ever a 5.5 flareside produced. At least I've never seen one so unless your screw has the 6.5 bed I doubt theres a workable solution since it has a longer wheelbase than the 5.5 bed model

I'm picking up my 2009 XLT Super Crew 6 1/2' Flareside, after work tommorow. It was the dealerships vice presidents demo and has yet to be titled. Got it for a steal. Only 3000 miles on it. I'll post some pics when I get a chance to take some. Bad weather is expected for the next few days.

I just joined the forum tonight. Traded a 97 XLT with 199K on it. It was time for a new toy.
