I really like this set-up. 20" rims, the old style billet grill, and a super crew! I can see this being a great seller.

 

Wish they offered this when I got my 13 STX. I think I would still stay with the supercab for the 6.5 bed and the smaller seat fits my needs just fine but I like the 20s, and that grill looks to be a black version of the harley grill.

I sold fords for a few months last year right out of college and I must say as good of a bargain the STX was, a lot of people wished that it had the super crew option.

I see the STX as a poor man's FX4. Add on a few nice touches and you have an FX4 minus the interior.

The 2014 Additions of this truck as well as the Tremor (regular cab short bed ecoboost, basically a modern version of the old lightnings) should do well.

 

I like. The STX is a great package, at a great price. This should be a good seller. Now, if Ford would just put some cup holders in the arm rest.........

 

Not bad, but I would rather see some nice 18" 5-spokes with meaty tires, and a REAL friggin fold-down center console rather than the WORTHLESS fold-down armrest. I really like the STX package overall, but that armrest with no storage is the worst way to "save cost". Obviously they can't jazz up the STX interior TOO much, because they want people to buy up to the FX2 or FX4, but come on...

 

Agreed...an armrest cup holder is an obvious creature comfort that the STX sorely needs. I would also like to see a manual seat height adjustment for the driver's side.

 

About time they offered the STX in a supercrew!

A couple other 2014 features that impress me...

Not a fan of chrome, but I like the painted inserts on the King Ranch grill. A Kicker sound system available on the STX, XLT, FX4, and lariat. I'm personally lusting after the Raptor Special Edition bead-locks!
