Default Stx

I just bought a black 2012 supercrew 3.7. There is a red graphic on the side that says stx. The fender emblem says xlt. Reading up it and found something that said stx is available for the xl only. Is there such a thing as an xlt stx supercrew? If so what is included on the 2012 xlt package?

STX is a slight step above an XL. Still below XLT. These are all distinct trim levels. Someone has been applying whatever they feel like to this truck.

I don't have the 12 order guide, but STX is probably power windows, locks, cruise control. Maybe a couple other basic upgrades from the XL.

XLT has a very big range of possible options. If you really want to see everything, search for the Order Guide.

I have a reg cab/reg bed, 2012, 3.7v6, STX.

like stated above, the STX is in between the XL and XLT.

i believe you can do a vin search and see what you have.

Could be a swapped fender. Hopefully just a badge.

Not quite as up on my 12G STXs, but in 10G trucks, they could have been XL or XLTs as XLs wouldn’t have had power windows and locks.

If you have body colored bumpers, it’s an actual STX. I believe my friend’s SCrew ‘14 had STX badges on the fenders.

Good point on the bumpers, I forgot about that. I also believe the STX wheels are unique,

my 2012 STX,
