Yes, very stupid, but I'm not certain. My new to me 2013 Lariat has a leather interior. Is the dashboard leather or just a faux leather?

My '14 FX4 has no leather on the dash, door panels, or center console. Its only on the seats.

My '13 Lariat has what I would describe as two different materials on the dashboard area. There's some leather or leather like material covering the top of the main instrument panel, and a hard made to look like a leather product with leather like texture covering the rest of the dashboard.

It's faux leather. IIRC the only things that are leather are places your butt or back touches. The rest is faux.

Leather only over the steering wheel, the round humped up piece thats it.
