Default Stuck in park

My 2010 f-150 was stuck in park, the brake light, tire pressure and traction control light was on. The only way to get things cleared was to remove fuse #5 from the panel behind kick plate and reinstall. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Also keyless entry don't work when this happens.
thanks for any help

What fuse is that? And which shifter do you have? It's pretty hard to say anything without you giving some specifics.

Next time that happens, turn the key to the on position until all your gauges and dash lights up, now turn the key back just far enough so the cluster turns off, no further, now shift into neutral and you'll be able to start the truck.

As mentioned above, check your brake lights.
