Storing Maintenance Logs
Hey there everybody, just wondering how each of you store your truck's maintenance work orders and or logs. In binder? Folder? I always found this to be interesting.

If you're one of those people that gets *everything* done at the dealer, it's pretty easy - Ford keeps all of the records for you at www.flmowner.com
problem is the dealer enters the data, and I'm not sure that whoever they have entering the data understands english.
I had "tire rotation" entered as "steering". Also, if you have anything non-standard done it's entered as UNKNOWN, but the cost, odometer and servicing dealer are still listed.

I have a hanging file in the console. I put everything in there. I also keep a log with the date, mileage and gallons at the fill up. On that log I put the date mileage and maintenance. All records kept nice and neat with the truck.

I keep only the recent work records and oil change records with my truck, and the older records are put away. It's impossible to keep them in the truck. My last F150 had approximately 60 oil changes, 2 alternators, 1 starter, 4 brake jobs, 4 batteries, 2 serpentine belts, 1 idler arm... to say nothing of the dozens of other routine service items.
If I carried all this with me, I'd need to pull a trailer!

I have a Motorola Droid and I'm using an app called ACar. I use it to keep track of fill-ups and maintenance on my three vehicles. Does a great job!
