when i looked at my spare when i was running 1.25 spacers, they have almost no spacing in between the studs so if you got a flat you would have to take the 1.25 spacer off to mount the spare. 1.5 spacers hide the entire stock wheel stud so the spare will fit normally.

That's what I have read before... so I'm looking for 1.5" spacers!

Question for you guys running FX 20's AND 305/55r20's AND a leveling kit.

Is there any rubbing with that setup and a 1.25" spacer?

I had the same setup running a 2.5" level and 1.5" spacers. There was minor rubbing on the fender flare. Easily fixed with a little trimming.

Ok, 1 vote for minor rubbing. It seems like it'll be a crap shot. I'll wait for others to weigh in

This weekend I finally got my spacers on and so far so good. I went with the 1.5" Bora spacers because I did not want to cut the lug nuts down or worry about usage of a spare if the need arises. I will spare the install because there are already a few good threads covering that but here are some pictures.

So just a little update. This weekend I went to check the torque on the spacers and found out that the wheel studs had just enough left over to touch the wheel and leave witness marks. I should have checked when installing them but I was in a hurry and trusted that the 1.5 inch spacers were enough to clear the wheel. Lesson learned again and off they came so I could grind the end of the wheel studs down.

Maybe because you don't have the pockets behind the wheel?
