Stock tires, how many miles?

Stock tires, how many miles?
Hey everyone, I'm thinking its time for some new tires on my 2013. I have approx. 17.5k miles on the stock wranglers, and they are already pretty low. I don't do burnouts or anything like that, just drive. Does this seem fishy to anyone else? If I am remembering correctly, it seems most people didn't get many miles from their stock ones either. Edit to add: I have rotated them every 5k with every oil change.
The current options are slightly larger than stock BFG KOs for a little less than 1200, or Nitto Terra Grapplers for about 980 OTD. The tire shop guy is going to call me tomorrow with more options.

I have a 2014 my stock wranglers are wearing really well with 14,000 on them. They have done really good with all the snow and ice lately. It seems some people get good mileage and some don't.
I know a guy at work with over 45,000 on a set and they still look pretty good.

Thats really a loaded question. Ton of variables that can be in play. I wouldn't spend much time worrying and just buy some better tires.

My 2014 has over 13,000 miles. I rotate every oil change and the only wear I'm getting are on the outside. There rounding over the edges. The next set I'm going with are the Cooper at3's

I see it everyday the stock tires wear out really fast likely a lack of rotations if I had to guess. But it's very common and OE tires do not come with warranties from the manufacturer.

26k on the stock Hankooks. Picked up a piece of metal right on the shoulder on one, and had to decide to buy one new tire, or replace the set. The Hankooks were showing quite a bit of edge wear, but still had some meat left. Was not happy with the handling on these, so I went with a set of Goodyear Wranglers one size wider than stock, based on a recommendation from a friend who manages a tire shop. Truck handles MUCH better now, although it rides a little harder than before. Also, the Goodyears look a lot better than the Hankooks, which always looked too small for a truck, in my opinion.

I didn't like them at all in the winter. Snow or ice they didn't perform very well, better than the pirellis though. I've had bfg ats and duratracs and they are my year round choices here in the great white north
