Default Steering Rack play

Hi all, I have a 2011 F150 FX4 Crew cab with about 90k miles, I added Bilsteins and I did disconnect the battery when I did it.

Is there any way to adjust the amount of side to side play in the EPAS unit?

I have noticed that my front tire wear shows that I have a loose component in my front end. With the truck both off and running and the front tires off the ground, I held on at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions and shook the tires back and fourth. When I did this I could hear a clunking type noise, like a bad inner tie rod. I just had both inner tie rods replaced (Moog parts, nothing cheap) and had an alignment done by a shop. Just to be sure those were installed, I popped the boot off to make sure. They were there so we shook the wheels again, and the play is coming from the rack (EPAS) itself. Sorry for the long story, but I wanted to eliminate as many guesses as to what is wrong and see if anyone else has experienced the same thing I am seeing. Thanks

Hello new to the forum. I know this thread is 4 years old but I was wondering if you ever figured it out as I'm currently experiencing the same issue. Thanks.
