Default Steering Problem

I have a 14 F150 5.0L 4 wheel drive that i believe the power steering rack just went out on. Was flashing the "service advanctrac", and "hill descent sensor fault" before i finally got the "power steering assist fault". Was making a screeching sound whenever i turned left before it finally went out all together.
Basically I would like to know if that indeed sounds like the likely culprit and what steering rack I would need to replace it with. I pretty much understand the replacement process I'm more or less needing the part numbers.
Thanks in advance!

The part numbers are easy - just go to Tasca Ford's parts website, put in your VIN number, and you will find them.
The choice you'll have, is buying one at a lower price, such as from Tasca, or Roesch, and dealing with shipping the core back,
or paying full bore at most local dealers, and not messing with shipping the core.

Sorry you won the steering rack lottery.

This the site you mentioned? Just wanna make sure they're legitimate. $700 cheaper than dealer sounds too good to be true

The price for that part should be $1200 from Ford for brand new. That could be after a core return, but if a dealer quoted you $1800 for just the part, that is ridiculous. If it included labor, that's actually pretty good.

Tasca is legit, but slow. Here's one I like, this is a dealer: https://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/

Yes - Tasca is a good outfit. I have bought a lot of parts from them.
