Hello. I test drove a 2013 F150 Platinum 4x4 with 165,000 miles on it yesterday. Nice rust free truck. It has had the vacuum brake booster replaced twice. The brakes worked good, but it felt like you had to push the pedal through mud to get them to activate. I have held off on buying it, mainly because of this. What do you think the issue is? Thanks.

 

either air in the system or a failing ABS HCU

Probably just air in the system. You could negotiate a discount or agree on a fair price with the seller fixing the brakes before the sale.
