Just about wrapped up my latest build of the replica Spyder headlights.
Build includes the Evox-r replica projectors labeled as V2.0 running Osram CBI bulbs on a 50w Morimoto setup.
Also added Morimoto XBT Demon eyes as well as the XBT halos, which were modified as "evil eyes". Morimoto switchback C-bar LED was also added to complete the look.
Turn signal bucket was painted a satin black and the side marker smoked with translucent paint.

Looks awesome! I like that much better than the kind with the thick C bar light. How difficult was the projector swap? And are you still able to adjust them with a turn of a screw?

Slight modification for the projectors to bolt in.
Yes, you can still adjust them using the factory adjustment screw.

Switchback C-Clamp (White/Amber)
RGB halo and demon eyes all controlled via bluetooth app. Halos and demons eyes can be operated independently of each other.
The switchback will be wired in with the turn signal and maybe the headlights for continuous amber operation at night.
The demon eyes have a 12v input that can be tied to the headlight wiring to kill power to the LED when headlights are in use.

Those lights look great!

I love the look of the c-clamp switchbacks. I recently just put some in my headlights. Not sure on the morimotos, but for my diode electronics I wired the full power wire to an ignition power source, low power to the marker light, and turn signal to the signal wire. Then I disabled drl with forscan. I didn't want the signal lamps or fog lights running for drl's. I also ran the the ignition source on a switch, in case I ever needed to disable the drl.

Nice.
Similar to my build in my signature.
Using the white as a DRL, amber for turns and amber with running lights or headlights.

What paint did you use for the blinker bowls vs the amber blinker? I was going to use Nightshade on the amber, but decided against it at the last min...I heard it has a purplish tint to it...not sure if its true or not..

and happy 1000 post to me...

I used he VHT nightshade on the ambers. Never seen any purple on the numerous lenses I have used them on.

The turn signal buckets I used some Dupli-Color satin black for plastics over top an etching primer.
