back in my Ford Escape I stepped on every corner possible.. Now I think twice before flooring anything. Sometimes wish I didn't have it !

I do have the same problem here too!
I have 305/65R18 (I bought it like that) and I dont think the cpu has been updated with the proper information. It gives me crappy L/100km and the odometer isn't probably showing the good km...

Can only ford or a tuner fix this? I mean, can any mechanic fix it?

If your truck is 2011 or newer only a tuner or this > http://www.hypertech.com/products-sp...alibrator.aspx

We already told you on the other forum only way to fix it is a tuner. Or the hypertech thing and for the price of it a tuner is a better option. A mechanic can't do squat for you unless you find a 4x4 shop that has the hypertech adjusters. Not sure if those are VIN locked.

Yea, about the tuner: But here it was to know if the "common computer they connect into vehicle" would also work. You know, for the lack of words, the computer they used to see error code and the like? I don’t know if they would have been able to use that.

So that's why I did ask again.

I wish I was more of a mechanic so those questions wouldn't need to be asked.

yes unfortunately appears only tuner or speedometer calibrator are solutions. The speed calibrator is VIN locked, not sure about tuner.
