Default Speakers

Just did the Kicker upgrade (non-sub). Sounds great, but when you adjust the sound from front to back all of the bass is coming from the front speakers. When I adjust to 100% rear the sound is OK. When I adjust to 100% front it is amazing. It did this with the stock speakers as well. I'm not interested in putting in a sub. Was just wondering if this was normal (front speakers sounding so much better than the rear).

Its normal with the stock HU. As it really sucks. I noticed a Huge improvement in the soundstage, when I Upgraded to a Kewood 892.

The stock HU, is around 8w x 4 ch.

I would hope a $1000 HU upgrade would make a big difference.

It did, except mine was 799.99 for a refurb.
