Question Spark plugs?

I'm getting ready to change the plugs on 09 F150 5.4. Should I have the same spark plugs concerns as the previous years? Was this corrected after 08?

Yes they use different plugs on the 09+, mine were NGK and were not the old 2 piece auto light, did mine at 60k and they were nasty.

If you get the longer spark plug socket for the 5.4 it helps, also be sure to blow all the dirt/small rocks out of the spark plug tubes before taking the old ones out.

The plugs are NGK double platinum PN# 5507, and they are pricy as list price is $38/ea

Thank goodness! What replacement plug did you go with? I will definitely go with a platinum plug. Should I stick with the 1 piece ngk?
