Default Spark plug question

Have a 2013 STX 5.0, and have had a bit of a goofy idle since I bought the truck. After some reading, spark plug gaps from the factory seem to be all over the map and it seems some have solved this issue by correcting the problem. I plan to do so today. My question is, I currently have about 26,000 miles on the truck. Would it be worth it to go ahead and replace the plugs, or should I just re-gap the stock plugs? I'm sure these have plenty of life left on them, I'm just thinking since I'll already have them put, it might be good to replace them and it gives me another 26k before I have to mess with them again.

Opinions?

Pull one or two out and see what condition they're in, then decide. After reading the recent posts on this topic, your question may elicit several responses- some will say change them, some reuse. Your call...

I don't have the v8 so I can't speak from experience on your truck. But unless the 40 bucks is going to break you, I would just buy new plugs. If money is tight and if the old plugs look clean I might think about keeping them.

I have a '12 5.0 and have a bit over 30k miles on it, most of it put on in the first year, and I recently replaced my plugs. I noticed that my gas mileage had declined significantly over the period of a few weeks all the while driving the same. As soon as I put the new plugs in (Motorcraft) I got my gas mileage back. Power and idle were fine prior to this just the gas mileage changed.
