Default Spare rim and tire setup, leveling kit

Hey everyone. I have a 2011 XLT stock 17" spare. I'm getting new 18" wheels and tires. Is there any reason I should upgrade the spare to match? Just wondering if anyone has done this or if I should care. Currently there is no leveling kit or lift. Hopefully in the future. At that point I would think just because of the height it may be worth looking into.

Also anyone have good luck with the Bilstein leveling kit and how's the wear on the other components.

No need to upgrade the wheel on the spare. As long as your tire is the same diameter you're good to go.

Never had bilstein's but people around here love them. Shouldn't wear on any other components.
