Default Soundsystem upgrade

Hello,

i am from germany (sorry for my english) and owner of a 2009 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with 5.5 shortbed.

i have got the standard 6slot-cd headunit with the 4 loudspeakers (one in each door) the size of the speakers is 6"x8"

i want to place two 10" subwoofers under the backseat. the woofers will be powered by a car-hifi amplifier. and here is my question: how can i connect the amplifier with the ford headunit?

greets from germany
manuel

I can't answer your question, but the aftermarket products, reviews section has a sub-forum called sterio/audio. There are alot of knowledgeable people in that forum that can probably answer your question.

Depends on the amplifier your using, if it has speaker level inputs, you can use those, otherwise you'll need a Line Output Converter to change the signal to low/RCA level.
