I had a chance to get several images of the various details of the FX Appearance Package today.

A few comments:

• That stripe thingy actually doesn't look too bad (at least on this Tux Black truck). Realistically, it's kind of difficult to see (maybe that's why it doesn't look so bad)... Not sure what it will look like on the other colors where the stripe is that gray-ish color.
• The grille is completely paint-matched to the body color.
• The wheels are painted in a satin black finish, not gloss, not flat.
• The running boards which are unique to the package are also finished in a similar satin black finish...very nice.
• The sun visors include covered, illuminated mirrors. That doesn't seem to be mentioned in Ford's description of the features on the FX2/4 models.
• The seats are covered with a very soft leather. I'm kind of concerned about the long-term durability of that. It's about as soft as what's in the Platinum model.
• I'm also still on the fence about the red perforations in the seats. They pics I took make them look more prominent than they really are. But, it's still noticeable.
• The interior trim surrounding the air vents etc. is kind of a subtle glittery black color. It's nowhere near as "loud" or "sparkle-y" as that which was used on the previous Harley model.
• The trim surrounding the radio, gearshift, etc. has a black, brushed aluminum finish.

Thats great, thanks for the the pictures. However that just made me more confused. Now I dont know if I am feeling the red seats and not sure how the PTM grill will look on the race red.

I love the black dash and 90% sold on the rims. I think its one of those things I will have to see in person to make up my mind.

And as for the appearance package.. Interior is tacky IMO. Nice though don't really like the red piping. White wouldve been nice

Anyone else think the seats look like my Reebok gym shorts? Just sayin...

meh, not really impressed. I don't like the red needles and gauges and not into red piping so much.

i LOVE the black wheels though. i WANT!!!
