So, basically, you had 1600 bucks to drop on new wheels and tires for a 40k+ MSRP truck. Despite that, you buy dry rotted and bald tires off craigslist so you can "offroad" because you "don't have much money" to "tear up" new tires.

Now, if you had put those used tires on a set of off-road wheels, that'd be fine. But if you mounted them onto daily driver wheels, you really need to adjust your priorities I think.

40 dollars seemed like a cheap deal to be able to prolong the life of 400 dollar tires... Idk, silly me. I guess I am a noob.

I never expected his response to be honest but it's all good. Chapman I will this weekend. I'm going to take my stupid dumb tires offroading to go shoot some clays. Seated clay throwers that plug into your trailer hitch are awesome!

Don't blowout on the highway. Hope you don't have to brake too hard in any road wash or anything.

Cheap, almost done with tires off road? Just fine. I've done this plenty, just swap out to the beater wheels.

Cheap, almost done tires on a public roadway/highway? Idiotic.

I don't care if you bite it into a concrete divider. I do care if you hit a car full of kids because you decided to put dry rotted, bald, craiglist tires on a daily driver when you had perfectly road worthy tires available.

There's one in every crowd brother. Don't sweat it, be careful, and have fun.

I'm actually looking for one more tire and a 17 inch f150 wheel to use as a spare. Does anyone run a larger full size spare on their truck? I see there is a heat shield on my truck that raptors do not have.
