Default So this doesn't sound good...

This started happening a few days ago. Horrible scratching sound when I roll down/up my driver window. Anyone know what's making this noise? Fixes?

I didn't listen to it because I'm in a hotel room and don't want to wake my child and risk a civil war with the wife.

But.... My guess would be a window regulator.

It sounds like a scraping noise. A bad, bad scraping noise.

Going to have to agree with the other brosephs here..Gotta be something loose in the door, maybe a piece of the lock actuator or something. Only thing I've heard of happening that's remotely close is a squealing window after some age on the 11th gens. My bro's old truck did that.

Have you changed out speakers recently? Sometimes the magnets will scrape on the window if they mount to deeply.
