Snow chains?

You might look at these. After reading reviews I ordered a set for My 265/65/18"s
I plan to go to Colorado and chains are required at times on mountain passes. These were the easiest to install. Check you tube for Rud tire chains. I think they would be smoother running than a standard ladder type design. This is the best price that I could find.

I picked up a set of Class S cable chains for my 2011 with the same tire size. They fit on the back with about 2cm (0.75 inches) to spare. However, on the front, there is significantly less clearance (less than 1 cm (1/2 inch).
Talking with a few dealers and the consensus was that chains fit on the rear tires, but have clearance issues on the front. I picked mine up to work in case of emergency, and only a pair for the rear tires (I do have 4x4).
