Default Sneaky Little SOB's! Mice!

Two weeks ago I uninstalled my AFE air intake and reinstalled stock intake. This week I received my Airaid and went to install it to today. Upon removing the stock box I then lifted up the stock filter to find the startings of a nice little mouse nest!! Somehow within past two weeks those little suckers somehow had to have crawled up through the fender well into the lower opening of the box and there was a little pile of shredded cardboard and some grey fluffy filler material. No idea if it came from inside my truck somewhere or from somewhere else in the garage. The truck has sat undriven for the past 4 days so I am guessing this is when they started their construction. Installed the Airaid and put out like 6 boxes of Decon in the garage and I set two old fashioned mouse traps with peanut butter inside the cab of the truck in case they are crawling around in there somewhere. Truck only has 3000 miles on it..Not happy.. Any other advice on steps I can take to make sure they leave it the hell alone? Hoping it was just because it sat for 4 days..I would think if i was going in and out of the truck daily and driving it they would take their business elswhere...

gross! I would set traps around your house too, who knows where else they are. I'm sure there must be some type of repellant you can put inside your truck.

Detached garage. Actually large steel storage barn. Plenty of other comfy places for them to live and sleep.

Simple as? Details please. Sounds simple but how big of a bucket. What entices them to crawl up and in there?

I also would like to know.

Are you talking about greased pail traps?

Take a big bucket and fill it halfway with water and cover the top of the water with a layer of sunflower seeds so it looks like there is no water due to the layer of seeds and what not ten set a 2x4 against that for them to walk up. They'll walk up see the seeds n stuff in the bucket jump in fall thru the layer of seeds and drowned. It's simple I use it for chipmunks n ground squirrels. U can tell when ones in there because there will be wet seeds where the rat fell thru the seed layer

Video of it in action. You can see how easy it is. Not humane but it will work great.

5 gallon bucket.
