Slip Yoke???

If you have the 157" WB (SCREW 6.5" bed) it will be different. The driveshaft is 2 piece and will have a carrier bearing in it. It requires and additional step of removing 2 bolts that hold up the bearing against the underside of the truck.
All other trucks should simply be the removal of the (4) 12mm bolts at the rear of the driveshaft.

I have a 2wd I bought some marine grease but am looking for some self help pics on that.
So your saying drop the driveshaft at the rear end first then can I pull it out at the boot. Thanks

I haven't done this, but I should.
Here's a guy's write up of the same thing on his 250. I imagine the priniciple is the same

1. Mark stock location of DS front and rear
2. Remove bolts holding rear DS in place
3. Completely remove the passenger side bolt holding the carrier bearing in place
4. Back the driver side bolt holding the carrier bearing in place about half way, you can then manipulate the carrier bearing out of that bolt as it is different than the other one.
5. Pull the DS free from the transmission
6. Lube the shaft in the appropriate spot (ha ha, see what I did there?)
Reinstall is the reverse of the above.
When reinstalling you can hang the DS from the bolt that you left backed half way out, which will make life much easier on you.
FWIW, I had my DS lubed by Ford due to the bump stop with the special blue lube. There was hardly any in there. I used a high temp. Motorcraft bearing grease and I noticed it is smoother when coming to a stop. We'll see how long it lasts.

I broke mine with a regular 3/8 ratchet, was a little tough, but do-able.
Soak them with penetrating oil and try again tomorrow.
