Question Side window molding?

The molding around the side windows on the 2009 F -150 seems to fade out and look old or discolored. What can be used to restore the molding or make it look good? Having a new truck and the molding looks 10 years old isn't the best!

I have experienced the same thing. It looks like it is in the same condition as the molding on the 2001 Tundra I just got rid of for my new 2009 F150.

That said, just washing the truck and drying with a Chamois cloth seemed to take the "old" look out of it. I think it is just very receptive to grease and oils from your hands causing it to look old.

Don't know what it is, but every Ford I have ever had has this issue (starting with a 65 Mustang- must be the particular rubber Ford uses) I have found the 303 Areospace Vinyl Protectant or Vinylex help a ton. Put it on before you wash, let it sit, and then wipe off. I do it before wash so I can easily remove any that gets (inevitably) on the paint.
