I have the same problem with my AVS in-channel vent's. Not a big deal most of the time just raising them manually, would be nice for the auto up to work correctly all the time though. I just like the look of these in-channels vs. most i've seen.
Yea manually taking them is fine if I have to live with it I guess I'll deal just would be nice to get a fix that works
I bought the AVS Seamless vent visor #894011 (low profile ones) because my dash camera kept burning up in Florida at least that's what it seems like so far. I used Meguiars #40 to clean the rubber trim followed up by the alcohol wipes. They haven't been installed for too long but they are holding up so far. On Amazon they were pretty cheap especially when I bought because they were 10-15% off and a $10 off mail in rebate.

Ripped out the in channel vent visors and sent them back had nothing but problems since day one of install nothing I did helped... either gonna try different brand of in channel or just go with stick on outside vents
Love my Weathertech, they've been great.
I put some Scotch double sided sticky tape on and have had NO problems.
I bought them for all of my Vehicles. The stick ons seem a but cheap they must be OK everyone gets them.

Had the stick ons on my old truck the only problem I had was I mounted them in the wrong spot so the tape didn't stick right stick had no problems with them didn't leak had the truck 8 years with those on no issues
Another vote for lowpro AVS. Agreed that they don't flow a ton, I had the larger in channel ones on my ranger. You could have the window open a good 3-4", with the rear slider it was great.
However, these with the slider and the sunroof open flow pretty good. Not as good as the larger bubble but I'm still happy. I wanted them more for venting at work. The leather sucks when I have to face south and forget to put my window screen cover up.
Coworker just bought some, I'm not sure of the brand but they are stick on and they are wider.
They actually are the low profile seamless ones. I have them on my truck.
If you look at Lund's website it shows both of these part numbers. The ones I posted say they are "smoke" color and the ones you posted are "matte black". I didn't even know there was two different colors. Mine look black and not smoke though so I'm not really sure what's going on there. I also noticed some have posted pictures of theirs and they have an AVS logo on the front visors. Mine do not have any logo.
Matte Black - PART NUMBER 774011
Smoke - PART NUMBER 894011
