Yeah I smoked them using VHT nightshades. First I sanded them with 1000 grit sand paper. Then I just used 2-3 light coats. I wasn't wanting them to be blacked out, just a darker red to match the truck color. Then I used a couple coats of clear coat, and wet sanded them with the 1000 grit sand paper and buff shined them with meguiars ultimate compound. I really love how they turned out.
I'm really happy with the LED bar. It's super bright and great quality for a cheap price. Below is the link to the LED bar, and then another link showing how I installed it.

Decided to dig out my old GTS taillight covers that I had on my 2011. I didn't want to use them because they didn't fit well with the double sided tape I was using.
Decided to try Butyl sealant, I had some left over from a retrofit. Ran a bit of it around the edge of the tail light, heated it up with my heat gun and stuck them on. They fit much better (though not perfect) and they are more snug and secure than ever. I just dread the day I have to take them off and have to scrape that butyl sealant off my taillight edges.
