Did them myself. Inside bezel painted SGM and rest is satin black. Turn signal bucket painted black as well but I also sprayed it with reflective spray to make it bright when the lights on. They also have the hella projectors, etc...
This spring I'm planning on a 4" lift. Also going to add bushwacker extend a fenders and have those, bumpers and door bottoms/rockers sprayed in color matching line-x...

I placed an order for a color I couldn't find--green. Was going to be so cool, I thought. Unique. That was on a Friday. Next Monday my 97 F150 gave up, transmission spun. So I went back to the dealership and got the closest thing, same F150 XLT, 4x4.
I've grown to like the color, although I see it everywhere. I go to towers (as pictured), and the sides can get scratched up. But the gray hides them pretty well.
In the picture I'm at Signal Peak in the Sierras, that I went to in the first week I had the truck--with factory tires. Gnarly road.

if your stock goodyears brand new are anything like my 1/2 used stock goodyears, then I'm sure you have some nice chips in the tread now.
I HATE these tires, but theyre quiet and they ride smooth, so I cant bring myself to replace them just yet.
for what it's worth the scratches show up on green gem just as bad as they do black. its a very pretty color, especially in the sunlight but its very hard to keep looking good.
I think the sterling gray will be a much better color overall.
I miss mine dearly because of how well it hid the dirt and scratches. my current white truck hides the scratches really well, but the dirt, not so much.

The stock tires lasted to about 40K, and then a sharp rock killed a tire. So then I made the switch to 10 ply--which I usually run. Same as you, I didn't want to buy new tires unless I had to.
Checking out a lot of reviews I found that Toyo tires are used a lot by logging companies for their backwoods driving, and after about 15K I really like them. I lost a mile a gallon in mileage I think, but they are enormously grippy on rocky hills and in mud while not being overly noisy on the freeway. And they're supposed to last a lot longer too.
I have a tradition that I drive to Tahoe in the first good winter storm. Tremendous fun to stomp through the snow confidently! And we have dinner at a swanky restaurant that overlooks the lake. So I'm looking forward to this coming snow season!
