Short Antenna
There is no link to the replacement antenna I have, but if you check back in this thread, you will see a link to a similar one.
The reason for no link is that I purchased mine at a local O'Reilly Auto Parts store. They had a small display shelf only a couple of feet wide with about 5 styles of "Universal Mount" replacement antennas. It came with 5 different base adapters, of which one fits the Ford mount perfectly. The cost was $5.00 and I installed it in 1 minute out in the parking lot.
The reception is about 80% to 85% of the original antenna. That means when I head out of town, I lose the radio station signal about 5 miles sooner than with the original.

The paper that came with it said it has a lifetime guaranty. Not bad for the price.
I like this one. But, it says that the threads on the Raptor are different.
