Shifter difficult to progress through gears
I attempted to utilize search box, so forgive me if I have overlooked a thread on this before.
2012 F150 Lariat 5.0 V8
I have the gear selector in the console and today I noticed that it was a little difficult to shift from P to D. I cycled it and it felt a little better but when I attempted it again it felt like it was catching and was even worse to the lower settings (M-2). Any ideas what may cause this before I start taking things apart to have a look? Ive seen some discuss about a neutral safety switch on the transmission for some older models but not certain this applies to 2012. Thanks in advance.
