Default Sensor Part Number

So I'm looking to replace my MAP sensors as I got a p0299 code. Now I see that I'm getting 18psi of boost when commanded. so I have two part numbers that are the same except for the revision number. One part number pulls up MAP Sensor and the other Pulls of Boost Sensor...isn't this just the same sensor with a newer revision?

Truck stats/trim would help. Otherwise go to Rockauto.com and punch in your truck data. They're usually pretty good about giving you the correct parts. Alternatively, Tasca.

Just because you got a code does not mean the sensor is bad, it only means it's detecting something not right which indicates it's working. Before you shoot the parts cannon at it, have the system diagnosed by someone trained to do so.

I have my information in my signature, not sure why its not showing up. I'm aware that a code does not mean that is the problem and after I pulled the sensors I notice that they are impacted in carbon and oil due to the previous owner not installing catch cans early in the motor life. So I added them and ran some GDI cleaner cleaner in the mix. I need to honestly pull the entire system, intake manifold out, clean all the oil and crude out fo everything and manually clean the valves. But for now I need to replace the sensors because they failed a rationality test. So I'm pretty certain the underboost is being caused by a failed sensor due to the fact I can not find a single boost leak. My snap on solus shows that it is commanding 18psi of boost under load and i'm getting 18 psi of boost so it could be alot of difference things, but sensors are cheap. Vacumm solinoid works for the wastegates after a bench test. I may check the BOV and bench test it later when I'm smashed. But for now I'm just trying to get that part thing figured out since the last time I checked the last number was just a revision number.
