I've been interested in getting an FX4 now since the 2011s. FX4s always came with 3.73s, 2013 Ford made the 3.55 with FX4 package an option and it appears all dealers are going with the 3.55 to keep the MSRP down by $570 for that option. Of course there is much debate on whether the 3.73 vs 3.55 is any discernible difference. Looking at the specs it appears the 11,300 tow rating is only available with max trailer tow (which I wont be getting). Looks like its 9800 with the 3.55 or 3.73 if you don't get max trailer tow. So in closing I guess I'm still up in the air on whether its important enough for me to custom order a 3.73 over the 3.55 but I'm hoping to find one on the lot with them. No luck so far. Is anyone seeing dealer ordered 2013 FX4s with the 3.73 or am I going to need to order one in?

the 3.55 rear seems to be the most popular so thats what the dealers are ordering for stock

if u r getting 5.0 and u tow anything get 3.73 if EB 3.55 will do
