Default Sct x4 wont update/communicate

bought my sct x4 from MPT and it included 3 custom tunes. I ran the can tunes until my custom ones were emailed to me...

well, the tuner will not communicate with my sct update software. all of my drivers are updated, firmware is updated and im running windows 7 pro...there should not be an issue.. the X4 powers up with the usb hooked up and drivers were downloaded to it.. there are no exclamation marks in the device manager either.....my truck is a 2011 3.7 SC XLT

at this point im extremely disappointed in SCT. it seems that many others have had issues as well...

im waiting on an email back from MPT

did you email sct? i have a windows surface pro running IE 8.1 and it needed drivers sent to me from sct themselves. they actually remotely log into your computer and within 2 minutes its done.

I emailed More Power tuning.. thier customer service seems great so far. I'm sure they can resolve the issue.. the can tunes in the x4 really increased my part throttle power and fuel economy is better.. I'm reallly looking forward to my custom tunes since I hate the way Ford has programmed the transmission

Call SCT. Their tech will run you through the process of getting things right. I had a problem with mine and they had it fixed in about an hour

Sorry for the late update... I ended up having to reinstall a new copy of Windows 7... I had some corrupt registry files.... I hate Windows.... Wish sct had a Mac based program.. I have a Windows laptop just for tuning.....

But all is well now!
