Default SCT SF3 - Windows 8 drivers??

Just got my programmer from 5Star. But I can't get the Device Updater to recognize the programmer. My gut instinct says it's something to do with the device drivers and Windows 8.

I was going to try to manually check the drivers but that section of the SCT website is dead.

I sent Mike an email and I sent a tech support request to SCT but I really like to get this resolved today. I've wasted almost my entire Sunday afternoon screwing with this thing.

Anyone else run into this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks!

If you call SCT they can remotely get on to your PC and change a few settings that will make it possible for your PC to read your tuner. I was told it is a known issue and they are working on getting it resolved with an update in the near future. They guys at SCT were east to deal with. Give them a call and they could get you fixed up. I called them with the same exact issue last week. There number is: 407-774-2447

go into device manager and update the driver through there. It won't automatically do it for some reason.
