Default Screeching driver's side

I'm new here, forgive me if I'm posting a repeat topic. I just returned from a camping trip from pulling my camper. Truck did great. Didn't experience any problems whatsoever. Got in late last night. Dropped camper, unpacked and went to bed.

Today, i went and picked up someone (1/4 mile away) because my summer school bus route starts tomorrow and needed them to drive my truck back for me when i picked up my bus. Anyways, when i left their house, i got all of 2 miles out the road and heard this scraping noise on and off, definitely rotational in nature, and it quickly turned into a god awful screeching.

Note: I replaced the 4x4 hub actuators back in October, and I promise it was not that clinking gear grabbing rattling sound. This was straight out metal scratchy sounds coming from the left driver side.

Pulled off road to see and couldn't find anything in my walk around. So I left door open, stood in the door and put it in drive. Not even 10 ft up the road it starts again, and definitely coming from driver side. Stopped again and reached in to feel my rotors and they were HOT enough to burn me. I thought maybe my caliper might be sticking, but i checked other side and it was hot too. I'm thinking IWE issue, BUUUT, when I replaced the actuators, I used vacuum delete actuators. A little lost here on where to start my diagnosis. Did the ones I buy fail? Did the long haul mess something up? Or should I be looking at something else altogether? I know my way around the tool shed, just not confident on what I'm dealing with or where/what to trouble shoot. thx in advance!

^ that'd (brake pads) would be my first check. pull the tire/wheel and look at. or just jack that tire off the ground and rotate.

Well, aren't i feeling a bit embarrassed, but it turns out I picked up a rock. Bought brake pads, removed wheel and it fell out. Relieved it wasn't a serious issue. Brakes weren't too bad but went ahead and did my due diligence since i was already half way there lol. Thanks a bunch!
