Scratches on Plastic between windows SCREW
I have a '13 SCREW (4X4)….took it for some light off roading and I guess some branches scratched (minor) the plastic pieces between the front seat window and back seat window. I also have noticed some light scratching on the plastic bed rail covers. Wondering if there is a product (thinking light abrasive) you can use to remedy this…as I can't be alone in it happening. Thanks!

definitely not man.. u can try using some type of rubbing compound on the pillars, but the bed rails I would say to paint over it. id look into some powdercoated bed rail caps that can really take a beating and some of those pillar covers. or throw some clear vinyl on the pillars

This is the 2nd reason I do my B pillars in 3M Dinoc carbon fiber vinyl. I like the look to begin with, and, if it gets too scratched up, I simply pull it off and put some more on. But, the Dinoc cf hides scratches a LOT better than the OEM plastic.
BTW, do NOT buy the pre cut ones on eBay for $40 or so. But a small sheet the size you need and cut them out yourself - maybe $15 or so. ($5 sq ft on eBay)

Thats a good idea, I may try the gray metallic that 3M has but how exactly do you cut it out? Do you just cut the sheet down, leave a little excess, stick it on, and just trim with a razor knife?

Exactly. I cut 1 piece big enough to cover both panels. Then I cut a line down the middle of the panels to separate.
Now if you notice, there are rubber trim at the edges. Trim the Dinoc long enough to be able to tuck it into the rubber trim. The tops and door edges don't have the rubber trim, so get some "94 Primer" and use it on all edges that can't be tucked under the rubber.
I use a 1-edged razor blade (painter's scraper) and also a #11 scalpel. Also, a heat gun is a must (don't try tight edges/corners without one).
Have fun!
