I will get the USB one and use my laptop initially as the cost is lower and if it does what I need that is cool. I do like the wireless option of the MX+ but I want to make sure my backups and stuff are not corrupt so I will go cheap at first.
Thanks for the help. I will get it on order today. I need to chase down that miss !!

Not sure if you can get that power readout on Forscan though.

Thanks for the recommendation to the cheaper usb scanner. I would imagine it would be much more difficult to view enough info on the phone. Just have to train myself on the Forscan software but pretty straightforward when you learn how to navigate. So many options to display and I gave up around the M's but pulled in my short term fuel% to compare. I have a bunch of unnecessary stuff displayed so I need to learn exactly what to watch to determine the solution. Another thread. Cheers!
A scan tool that I would recommend that can do anything you would need it to do is this one. I use it on my trucks all the time and it works great with no complaints. I have used it on my buddy's truck before too and he got the same one a little while later ofr him to use himself. Never had any issues with it, works better than any other scanner I have had. https://dieselscanners.com/products/...r-truck-repair
