I went with the Mishimoto baffled catch can through SSI. They have about the best prices and service around!
I "T'd" the right and left sides together and am venting to atmosphere at the moment. Be sure to block off the left turbo intake tube!

I have to ask, what is catch can and what is the purpose? I have been pulling wrenches for years on my own vehicles and have never heard of these?
Thanks in advance."..

A catch can is a can that catches the oil particles that are in the air which flows through your pcv system.

This oil laden air will over time gunk up your intake and valves...etc.

This oil comes from the gasses that slip past your piston rings, due to the high pressures , known as blow by. These blow by gasses contain oil particles and are vented out of your crank case by your pcv system, which keeps the crankcase from over pressurizing.

If I can find you a good link that explains it I will be sure to add it.

I think I hit the main points. There is a good article about it somewhere if only I can find it.

Thanks Mike, I would like to read that article if you can find it. I never knew they made something to " catch " the blow by from a PCV valve.

Thats what I am going to hold out for is until they make a specific bracket for our trucks.
Interesting.

I feel a welding project coming on...

Hey, no hurry Mike...

Question: Which of their cans are you running? I e-mailed Billet Technologies and got this reply:

Hi Ray

Unfortunately at this time we do not have a catch can for the ford trucks.

So, any help would be appreciated!
